Who we serve

U.S. veterans, service members, caregivers, and family members looking for reliable starting points related to homelessness, eviction, housing insecurity, benefits, employment, or a difficult transition to civilian life.

Vetted Patriots is not an emergency service or clinic. It has not yet published a verified direct-service area, intake capacity, response-time commitment, formal referral network, or housing outcome total.

The first 72 hours

If safety or shelter cannot wait, begin with services staffed for immediate response.

  • Immediate danger: call 911.
  • Suicide or emotional crisis: call 988 and press 1, or text 838255.
  • Homeless or at imminent risk: call the VA National Call Center for Homeless Veterans at 877-424-3838, free and confidential 24/7.
  • Local shelter, food, or transportation: call 211 where available.

Housing & Stability

Starting points for veterans facing eviction, couch-surfing, loss of temporary lodging, or discharge without stable housing.

  • VA homelessness programs and the 24/7 National Call Center.
  • Official benefits, identification, and housing-resource information.
  • Local shelter, housing-authority, SSVF, and landlord resources where independently verified.

Hotel nights, deposits, rent, utilities, furnishings, transportation, and Home for a Hero are not advertised as available services until funding, geography, eligibility, staffing, and approval are documented.

Jobs & Training

Official and community resources for work readiness, vocational rehabilitation, education, and veteran employment.

  • Resume and military-to-civilian skills translation resources.
  • Public workforce, apprenticeship, education, and licensing information.
  • Employer or training introductions only when a current relationship is verified.

The concept brings Village 5 housing, a Community Resilience Center, partner-staffed counseling rooms, a trades and vocational hub, teaching kitchen and agriculture, resilient power and water, and disaster-support capacity onto one site.

Current planning scale

The Essential Launch model uses a land-inclusive $40 million capital target for Village 5, including 40 rooms—35 intended for resident households and five flexible staff rooms.

Acquisition, design, permitting, partner commitments, operating assumptions, and financing remain in diligence. The Expanded Campus is not yet priced.

How we will define “housed”

For future public outcome reporting, “housed” should mean that a veteran or family has moved into a safe, habitable, non-temporary dwelling under a documented lease or occupancy arrangement. A referral, appointment, wait-list entry, motel night, or plan alone would not count.

Reporting status

This is a draft measurement definition. Vetted Patriots has not yet published verified housing outcome counts or a retention-period standard. Both must be approved and documented before numbers appear on this site.

Coordination supports the work; it is not the program.

PatriotChat may support future coordination among authorized participants. It is not presented here as housing, clinical care, emergency response, a referral network, or proof of impact.
